Michael Elias is the founder of Locale.one LLC. A Mexican American born and raised in the Bay Area, Michael has garnered extensive professional experience across the government, legal, and nonprofit sectors. After graduating from New York University with a degree in Philosophy and minor in Politics, Michael served as an aide to a New York State Assembly Member, a Paralegal with the nonprofit, Disability Rights Advocates, a volunteer with a boys' home in Santiago, Chile, through the nonprofit organization, VE Global, and an AmeriCorps volunteer with the nonprofit organization, Mission Graduates. Michael has since gone on to found his own nonprofit, LEAD.Latinoamérica, which coordinates annual service trips for Latino high school student leaders to Latin America. Michael is devoted to ensuring that everyday people feel empowered and motivated to pursue their ideas and passions, a sense of purpose that is integral to Locale.one’s work.
